To extrude an element against an imaginary plane

  1. Select the Extrude Element to Shape(s) tool.
  2. Set Top to Connect 3pts.
  3. Identify three points to define an imaginary plane against which the element will extrude.
  4. Identify the element to extrude. The extrusion is highlighted.
  5. Accept with a data point.
